EauDeDeal

About

Why EauDeDeal exists.

Most fragrance-deal content online is spam. Affiliate-stuffed listicles. Bot-written “reviews.” Retailers inflating MSRP so the discount looks bigger than it is. “50% off!” on a price that was never real.

EauDeDeal exists because there’s no single trustworthy source for fragrance deals actually worth knowing about. I lead with one, stop at three to five, and publish new Issues Tuesday and Thursday.

The editorial bet

Less inventory. More accountability.

The internet does not lack fragrance sale pages. It lacks judgment about which offer is real, which bottle the price actually buys, and whether the fragrance is worth considering in the first place. A smaller Issue can make those decisions explicit instead of hiding them beneath hundreds of links.

The email is the concise edition: the Picks and the editorial case. The website is the public record: dated Issues, publication-time prices, the selection method, and any material correction that becomes necessary. The archive is meant to show the work, not pretend an old offer is permanently live.

Read the complete selection and pricing methodology.

The reader promise

  • Name the exact fragrance, bottle format, size, retailer, and observed publication price.
  • Label the comparison honestly: tracked typical price, retailer list price, or no price anchor.
  • Explain why the fragrance matters now, who it may suit, and what could make someone pass.
  • Keep archived prices in their original time context instead of presenting them as live forever.
  • Never sell placement, ranking, or favorable language to a retailer or fragrance brand.

How this is funded

EauDeDeal may earn affiliate commissions from retailer links, at no added cost to you. Some links earn a commission and others do not. The possibility is disclosed site-wide and affiliate-capable links are identified in their markup.

No paid placements. No sponsored deals. No “partnerships.” If a retailer pitches me to feature their inventory, the answer is no. The one thing that keeps a curator honest is having nothing to lose by saying no.
